IV Conscious Sedation Certification

Our comprehensive one and two-drug sedation certification program is designed to provide you with the skills necessary to fully incorporate sedation and anesthetics into your practice safely and effectively.

Registration Steps:

  1. Register for the IV conscious sedation program. 
  2. If applicable, pay installments according to our payment schedule.
  3. Book your RDAs for Session 3.

Note, you must have two RDAs present during session 3 to attend. Please complete step 3 no later than two months before the posted start date for session 3. Any RDA's accompanying you will be sent a registration link for our complimentary Sedation Assistant Certification.

Session 1- Nitrous and ECG interpretation- ECG day can be done on Zoom or in-person

  • November 15th, 2025 at Face Forward Oral Surgery for Nitrous + January 18th, 2026 at PMA Edmonton for ECG Interpretation 

  • January 17th, 2026, in Edmonton for Nitrous + January 18th, 2026, at PMA St. Albert for ECG Interpretations
  • January 24th, 2026 at PMA St. Albert for ECG Interpretations, + March 7, 2026, in Edmonton for Nitrous 

  • May 23-24, 2026, in Calgary (Nitrous on the 23rd, ECG on the 24th)

  • September 12-13, 2026, in Edmonton (Nitrous on the 12th, ECG on the 13th)

Session 2A- ACLS training (8:00 am-4:30 pm)

  • February 7-10, 2026, in Edmonton at PMA

  • March 8-11, 2026, in Edmonton at PMA

  • June 20-23, 2026, in Edmonton at PMA

  • October 17-20, 2026, in Edmonton at PMA

Session 2B- Two Drug Lecture (on Zoom 6-9 pm)
