Course Overview
The CBCT course is available online via our eClass, and is in a self-paced, self-study format (no in-person attendance required). Following completion of the online eClass, this course culminates with a live, synchronous online session for participant case presentations
Outline
- Study the fundamentals of imaging, radiation dose, and clinical guidelines
- Participate in a virtual workshop involving image acquisition and interpretation
- Complete a multiple choice exam
Completion Requirements
Participants will have a maximum of 3 months within which to complete this entire course, including all the components of the eClass, the final exam, and the live Case Presentation session.
A score of 80% or higher on the exam will be needed to satisfactorily complete the certification.
Note, this course is designed to meet the educational requirements of the RCDSO Standard of Practice - Dental CT Scanners for Ontario dentists who wish to prescribe dentoalveolar (small field-of-view) CT scans.
Prerequisites
To be eligible for this program you must have an active practicing license from your dental regulatory authority in Canada.

Refund Policy
No refunds will be issued within 48 hours before the starting date of the course. If a refund is requested it is subject to a cancellation fee, which is 20% of the course cost ($299). Notice of withdrawal/cancellation of your registration must be provided in an email for a refund to be processed. Refunds will not be issued once registration is confirmed and course material, if any, has been emailed out, or after the start date of the course. Dates are subject to change and are based on enrollment numbers.
