The “Nursing Practice in Canadian Context” modules include an introduction to the Canadian Health Care System and the nursing profession, as well as professional standards and guidelines developed by nursing regulatory bodies in Canada to ensure safe, ethical and culturally competent, patient-centered care. The three modules (Introduction to Canada and the Canadian Health Care System; Practice Standards, and Collaboration; Culture and Diversity in Canada) aim to provide foundational knowledge for nursing practice in the Canadian context.
