Application Workflow
- Applicants are required to download and read the terms and conditions
- Applicants will then be required to agree to terms and conditions in the test guide.
- Applicants will then be able to make their payment.
- ⚠️Payment can only be made for ONE registration at a time.
- ⚠️Your email address can only be used ONCE. (e.g. If you plan on making three registrations, you need to use three unique email addresses).
- The application fee is $100.00 CAD and can be made by credit card (Visa, MasterCard)
- Only after making a payment will applicants receive a registration link email - DO NOT delete this email.
- Applicants must register through the link within 24 hours AND before 4:00 pm on Friday, April 10, 2026 (MDT).
- After successfully completing registration, check your registration confirmation details ASAP. You can check your details, including your passcode information, anytime by clicking the registration button in your registration link email.
- If there are any errors or corrections needed to your registration information please contact the PTJC for assistance.
- If you fail to register within 24 hours and before the deadline, you will not be refunded.
*Please note:
- Sections of the Test Guide may not apply to the application process for the Edmonton JLPT, as it is a general document created to accommodate testing sites worldwide. In instances where the Test Guide differs from the PTJC website, online application, etc., instructions provided by the PTJC should be followed.
- When you apply, please keep a record of the 8-digit passcode you enter and/or save your registration link email. The passcode is necessary to access your test results online, but will not be included in your test voucher. If you lose your passcode, we are unable to provide it for you.
Application
*The application deadline for Requesting Special Testing Accommodation for the July JLPT is Tuesday, April 7, 2026. Please see the Special Testing Accommodations for the details.
Regular applications will open on Wednesday, April 1, 2026 at 10 am (MDT). All applications must be received no later than 4:00 pm on Friday, April 10, 2026 (MDT). Late or incomplete applications WILL NOT be accepted.
You will receive a test voucher via email by April 24. Please bring the voucher along with a physical photo ID ( passport, driver's license or other official photo ID - health card with photo) on the day of the test.
