Course Description
This dry needling review course provides an advanced, anatomy‑driven refresher designed for practicing physiotherapists who want to refine their clinical reasoning, sharpen their technical precision, and deepen their understanding of dry needling safety. Using cadaver specimens, participants will examine at‑risk regions and surrounding anatomical structures to strengthen three core competencies: risk identification, safe needle placement, and informed clinical decision‑making.
The course blends hands‑on practice, case‑based discussion, and a current literature review covering mechanisms of action, physiological responses, dosage parameters, and evidence‑supported clinical applications. Participants will practice targeted needling techniques with instructor guidance while integrating research findings into real‑world clinical scenarios.
