Experimental design and analysis is by now an established branch of statistical science, an instrument of extracting relevant empirical information about various empirical phenomena - prominently in the field of medical investigations and others (sometimes broadly labeled as ”biostatistics”). The objective of the workshop is, on the local level, to bring together Alberta statistical research community, its established as well as new members, with an intention to be centred around the work and contributions of Keumhee Carriere Chough, on the occasion of her retirement as a professor at the Statistical Division of the Department of Mathematical and Statistical Sciences of the University of Alberta.
The workshop is scheduled to take place on August 2-4, 2024, in Banff Centre (Banff, Alberta)
