The virtual event is scheduled for Friday, March 7 & 14, 2025 from 1:00pm to 4:00pm MT. 

The EPIQ workshop uses a hands-on approach that enables teams to successfully implement quality improvement together. Each workshop incorporates a series of 10 steps that build a team's understanding of quality improvement using evidence-based tools and realistic improvement opportunities. The workshop's collaborative approach parallels the team-based nature of healthcare, giving groups the language, skills, and tools needed to carry out their first improvement project. 

The basic workshop is designed for literacy in the QI process, whether by individuals or teams: it can last 4 to 6 hours. 

 

Other important information:

  • A certificate of completion will be provided after the workshop. The lead facilitator determines who is eligible to receive the certificate.

  • e-class registration information will become available with this marketplace download after purchasing a license. You will need to create an account in e-class external to access the course materials – this step is in addition to the course payment process you just completed. As this is a virtual workshop, the following is required:

  • a computer with speakers and microphone OR headset with microphone

  • webcam

  • stable internet connection

Zoom information

  • we use zoom for the webinar, but you do NOT require your own zoom account. Please download zoom, as it will allow you to use all of the features that will be required when you co-facilitate or facilitate an EPIQ workshop. 
  • a link to the zoom webinar will be provided upon completion of the mandatory pre-workshop module in e-class. 

Refund Policy:

Full refunds, cancellations and transfers will be accepted up until digital course materials are sent out (usually 1 week prior to the course start date) there are no refunds.

A minimum of 8 registrations are required in order to run the course. 

If the workshop is cancelled by the Office of Lifelong Learning due to low enrollment or other unforeseen circumstances, you will be issued a full refund or have the option of transferring your enrollment to another open session.
