The goal of the camp is to give a diverse group of students the opportunity to learn mathematical ideas beyond the Alberta K-12 curriculum through hands-on activities. The camp will provide participants with the opportunity to experience different types of math outside of their usual classroom environment. Participants will need to be able to conduct themselves appropriately in a volunteer-led classroom environment. We ask that they engage with the other participants, session leaders, and volunteers in a respectful manner.
There is a $20 deposit to attend our camp. This will be fully refunded under the condition that the participant attends the camp fully. In case of emergency or illness, we ask that you contact the organizers as soon as possible. Finally, if you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to reach out to us.
Times: Feb 15 - 16th, 2025 10AM - 4PM each day
Location: Decima Robinson Support Centre, Central Academic Building, University of Alberta (Please wait to hear from us for drop-off and pick-up locations)
