Brought to you by the University of Alberta, College of Health Sciences. Developed by the Caregiver-Centered Care group, Joelle Fawcett-Arsenault and patient/family advisors.
Extend your learning from the Caregiver-Centered Care education courses by participating in this dynamic simulation experience.
This micro-credential simulation experience will take your appreciation and understanding of partnering and supporting caregivers to the next level.
The simulation offers a low-risk opportunity to translate your knowledge into practical skills by incorporating caregiver-centered care knowledge into your interactions with simulated patients and their caregivers (actors trained to play the role) in realistic scenarios and settings. You will expand your skills in homecare, inpatient, and virtual settings alongside other interdisciplinary healthcare staff, learning together through in-depth preparation, simulations, and debriefs.
