The Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering is convinced of the significant advantages of hands-on learning for our students! Therefore we are excited to continue offering our students affordable, high-quality electronic equipment that is ideally suited for use by students, hobbyists, and professionals both inside and outside traditional classroom and laboratory settings.

This page includes flowcharts can be consulted to determine all the correct kits needed to complete a course.

It is very important that you have all the equipment and components you need to complete a course. Students are encouraged to double-check their requirements, and make their purchases as close to the beginning of the term as possible.

Select your course level by clicking on the links below, and find your specific course in the flowchart. Please consult the flowchart on a course by course basis. For example, if you are enrolled in both 302 and 312, first consult the flowchart with ECE 302 in mind. Next, consult the flowchart with ECE 312 in mind. This leads to purchasing both the ECE 302 and 312 consumables kit, as well as the equipment and starter kits.
