Enrollment in this clinical assessment is strictly limited to dental hygienists formally directed to participate by the Alberta College of Dental Hygienists (ACDH), and applicants must upload a valid practice permit and current CPR certificate upon registration to verify eligibility.
Course Information
LA Clinical Assessment (ACDH requested): $400 The Clinical Assessment is scheduled on a Sunday from 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM, typically held three times a year, if necessary. Please email dentce@ualberta.ca for scheduled dates. If a participant fails the Clinical Assessment, they will be required to contact the ACDH for further recommendations and direction.
LA Clinical Assessment (ACDH requested) with Refresher Day: $800 The optional Refresher Day, held on the Saturday immediately preceding the Clinical Assessment, provides candidates with guided practice and review, as well as access to preparatory materials on eClass to enhance their knowledge before the assessment. Participation in the Refresher Day is encouraged but not mandatory. Please email dentce@ualberta.ca for scheduled dates.
